Dear Charis Family,

Happy Christmas season to you!!!! This morning I had the honor of welcoming a precious little boy into the world. His was one of those sweet stories of a baby doing all he could to defy an epidural!! And he got his way!! Mama had no time for the meds and got to do what she thought she could never do--and a week of sitting on birth balls resulted in only two pushes and NO injuries for mama. So I'm on a baby high as I write you today.

I apologize but I only have my phone to type on these days so I don't have a full article for you. My poor computer was baptized and didn't care for that too much, but another one is on the way. HOWEVER, if you will check out the brand new Childbirth PATHS International, Intl. website (www.childbirthpathsinternational.org) you will see some great opportunities we have to impact birth in Haiti, Kenya and several other countries. This Christmas season, one of the greatest gifts you could give to this ministry is to SPREAD THE WORD. We are in need of regular financial donors to cover operations each month, and in need for funding for our two Winter Action Maps (WAM!). If each one of you told your church, your work and one other person about PATHS it might help get us on our feet this year. I am astounded at the doors and connections God is opening up for us.

Until next time, I pray each one of you would bask in another kind of "birth high." Our great and glorious God took on flesh because of His immeasurable love for our lost world--His love for the souls of those in Aleppo, Syria; His passion for South Sudanese to know His peace; His great delight in Indonesia and His desire they be reconciled to Him. The birth of Christ is the story of God's heart for ALL nations. What a marvelous birth!

He came. He is coming again! Come soon, Lord Jesus.
