Exciting
Announcement!!!
It is time for Charis to begin translating our materials into other
languages!!!
So far, all of our students have been fluent in English, but we knew
eventually we would have students who need the books and materials
in other languages.
So the first language translation will be …(((drum roll)))…
Russian! There are currently two Ukrainian ladies who want to go
through the Charis doula training, so it is time to translate! That
takes time and money.
If you are excited that we have the opportunity to take the Charis
ministry into Russian-speaking countries, please help us out! Send
your donations to Charis Childbirth at P.O. Box 6900, North Port, FL
34290. Please write on a separate note
(not on your check) that your donation is for the Russian
translation project.

Our
Director's Heart
All the Power We Need
Think about the resurrection power that pulsed on the earth after
Jesus died, waiting for Him to complete the process to secure our
salvation, waiting for that third day to come so that Jesus could be
raised from the dead. In Mark 27:52-53 it even says that at the
moment of Jesus’s death, when the earth quaked and the veil in the
temple was torn in two, graves opened up and many people who had
been dead and buried came back to life and appeared to people in
Jerusalem after Jesus was resurrected. The power it took for Jesus
to go to the cross, suffer, die, snatch the keys to death, and be
raised again from the dead was so enormous that it spilled over and
brought others back to life as well! Talk about an overflow of
power!!!
What makes it even more exciting is that the same power that raised
Jesus from the dead is still alive and well in the earth today
according to Romans 8:11! We were not left here alone after Jesus
went to sit at the right hand of God the Father. We are still in the
presence of God because the Holy Spirit is here with us; and just as
Jesus—God the Son—embodied that power while on earth, God the Holy
Spirit is here empowering us so that we can continue the work and
ministry of Jesus Christ.
As we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus, I encourage each
of you to more fully embrace the resurrection power that is yours
through the Holy Spirit. If just the overflow of power waiting to
raise Jesus from the dead caused an earthquake and brought others
back to life, imagine the power that can be unleashed in your life
and the lives of your friends as you commune with God! After all,
the temple veil that served to separate man from the Glory of God in
the Holy of Holies was ripped for a reason! It was torn from top to
bottom so that we can come freely into His presence and have sweet,
intimate fellowship with God; and it is through our intimacy with
Him that we can tap into all the power needed for God’s best come to
pass on the earth.
As birth professionals and expectant families in relationship with
Jesus, we have access to all the power we need to experience
God-designed pregnancy and birth. (See II Peter 1:3 and II Timothy
2:14-15.)
