“Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, there’s just something about that name,” the old Gaither song says, “Kings and kingdoms will all pass away, but there is something about that name.” How true are those words. All we will ever need and all we have ever needed are found in Jesus.

I am so very thankful for our Messiah. While we were lost and alone He died for us, reconciled us to God, and made us one with Him. He alone can take credit; He alone did the work. It is He who restored relationship. It is He who sent His Spirit so we may have fellowship with Him. It is He who ever lives to make intercession for us. It is He who will come back and collect us so that we may be where He is and forever live with Him.


So when I think about the ‘secret power behind the childbirth professional’, it must, first and foremost be Jesus. Everything we have discussed over the past few months originates in Christ, is cultivated by relationship with Him, and occurs because He is in our midst. He is THE source.

As we learn to walk daily with Jesus, listening to His voice and following His lead, we have all we need to powerfully impact and serve the world around us.
