Equipping Birth Professionals Worldwide

Consider for a moment the nations of the world.  ALL of them have needs that can be met when servants of the Lord are empowered with His vision and His strength.  When Jesus walked the earth, he met both spiritual and physical needs as directed by Father God.

Charis endeavors to do the same.  As God gives us direction and opens doors in the United States and other countries, we are seeking to meet some important physical needs concerning pregnancy, birth, families, and health.  We are also concerned with the huge spiritual needs of people around the world. 

From within the poorest of third world countries to the richest of industrialized nations, Charis-trained birth professionals are reaching out and using their skills and passions to positively impact the lives of people.  (see Matthew 28:18-20 and Acts 1:8)

Charis Childbirth consists of three parts:  The Association, Local Family Services, and Ministry
Below is a brief overview of the three parts. Some of the items are already in place and functioning, while others are still in the planning or dreaming stages. There are even other things-- hopes and dreams-- still in the vision stage but not yet listed.

One of the purposes for Charis is to create space for other people’s dreams and visions to come true as well. We are in the business of birthing more than just babies. Perhaps it will be where your idea or hope becomes reality. God may very well be placing you here as a part of the Charis family in order to complete something He has begun in you.
